* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southeastern Elbert County in east central Colorado...
Southern Lincoln County in east central Colorado...

* WHEN...Until 615 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

- At 342 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.

- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Punkin Center, Karval, Forder, Kutch and Boyero.

Recommended Action

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of
small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland along creeks, and
other low lying areas.
